TriTel Drop Carrier Checker
Copyright (c) 1991
by Randy Hunt
for the TriTel Bulletin Board System
------------------------------------
Hello!!
Thanks for downloading this new TriTel utility!
Basically, this program is run in your BETWEEN.BAT file and
it checks to see if that last user on dropped carrier. If so,
it will send them a note that will be shown to them next time they
log on asking them not to make a habit of it (in so many words).
This note will be sent to them in both ANSI and ASCII files.
Setup
-----
Setup is a BREEZE! Just put TTDC.EXE wherever you want (I have
mine in my TriTel's main directory for easier use, but it could
just as easily be placed in your PATH statement). Then just make
sure that you add TTDC into your BETWEEN.BAT file (which is run by
TriTel after each user logs off). TTDC requires only one command line
argument. This argument is the path to your main TriTel directory.
You MAY have an optional second command line parameter. This second
parameter is the path & filename of a straight ASCII file that contains
a list of names (no more than _50_) who will be EXEMPT from getting
a note about dropping carrier.
An example of TTDC's usage might look like this:
TTDC c:\tritel c:\tritel\exempt.lst
or whatever. Basically, THATS ALL!
REMEMBER: That second parameter IS NOT REQUIRED, but can be used if it
exists.
